I like how you both talked about surgeries... In my whole time during the start of my transition it almost felt like a huge pressure to get all kinds of surgeries... I mostly want to like know everything I can about various surgeries without necessarily wanting them, but to know more about what those surgeries can do for me and what changes it would be like. My biggest hurdle is that people talk about top surgery like it is expected that you would get it... honestly, I am pretty glad things have changed and I kinda like to be saying that they are natural. However I do plan on doing bottom surgery, but that's mostly because I have had so many non-trans related bottom surgeries and with all the dysphoric experience even though the doctors and everyone was treating me with respect and not misgendering me in spite my genitals being on display. It really felt uncomfortable and I am pretty sure it is because I feel there is something more than just it being a health issue there. It feels super humiliating when the doctors and nurses treat me for urine infections and stuff like that. If there were not that much medical issues I might not feel that aware of it. I might feel less dysphoric... but yeah I feel the biggest thing for me is actually divided between getting a good urinal flow (which I can't because of tight urinals) and the ability to wear sexy panties and swimsuits without thinking about tucking, without having a single concern.

Honestly, this game is amazing, but there are a lot of times when it pulls unfare bullshit at you, or straight up fails to teach you something. When i got to the mine section, i brute forced it completely. I had zero clue that you could destroy the landmines, and the only way i figured out you could even do that is by seeing in a video you could blow them up, Because i thought the landmines were randomly generated, and would always be different. The game (especially in the later stages of the game) likes to spawn enemies in places where they would easily catch you off guard and instantly kill you, though, im mostly talking about the one hallway in the lambda lab that spawns a vortagaunt RIGHT FUCKING BEHIND YOU.

When you've learned how to complete the missions as quickly as possible while trying to achieve SA as well, that's when Hitman truly becomes a GOAT game.

The entire facility is a treasure trove of knowledge: Mantis people. Repulsor gel, and other varieties. Portal tech. Real AI, (Although came a bit late and Cave Johnson died). Mass production robots (that require almost 0 electricity). Even heart transplants were a big achievement (In our world it was first done in 1967). Considering the time/era in which Cave Johnson lived, I genuinely believed he had lead poisoning and went mad, 'mad as a hatter'. Without any oversight, the rich do dumb things, that are also highly immoral.

Cave Jonson couldn’t sell the portal gun cause it needs superconductors as portal surfaces to work and he didn’t have superconductors that would work at room temperature so it would actually flop and just work in the cooled lab

Part of why Cave didn't start selling the portal guns and paint is because Black Mesa has supposedly stolen their inventions multiple times. Maybe he wanted to improve the portal gun to the point where reverse engineering would become too expensive for competitors to pursue. But that's just my headcanon. Either way, Cave is still an idiot for not going for it anyway.

Ok my once and for all theory of 2001 is this: HAL was aware of the monolith, and he was aware that the monolith was an artifact capable of enhancing consciousness and lifting sentient beings to higher levels. The murder of the crew is an echo of the conflict between the monolith apes and the apes who hadn't touched it. HAL's purpose in killing Frank, Dave, and the science mission crew, was to pilot the shuttle pod to the monolith and himself become a transcendent being. I don't buy the 2010 retcon that HAL had conflicting instructions and became confused. I think HAL wanted to reach the monolith first, and thus become the super Siyan (or Star Child. That'd be weird). Monolith as screen all remain valid imho. There are always a bunch of layers to Kubrick films, that's definitely one of them.

Same here but I have the same problem with alcohol as well. Started smoking cigarettes at 15 because I wanted to smoke weed but I didn’t have any, plus it looked cool. 15 year old me smoking a cigarette made me feel like Spike Spiegel lol. I haven’t gone without a cigarette for more than 3 days (shoutout to the indian smoke shops) since I started because im such an angsty and unbearable person without them. Drinking has been absolutely fatal for me, and a lot of my drinking can be tied to my never ending sense of inadequacy, but that’s a whole different issue for me to rant about. I can’t express myself in the way that I’d like to so in turn I decide to drink, and by doing so I create more distance between myself and my family and the people that I care about and who care about me. I hope that everyone going through addiction can pull through it.

Even when you aren't talking about your psychological escape mechanisms, love, your housing, or trans-ness there's a huge personal element that you add to this channel. To this day I go back and rewatch your video on celeste every couple months because something about it resonates with me in such an interesting way.
